Logo meaning
盾形徽标内两只站立的东方雄狮护卫华表；英文名 ROEWE 源自西班牙语 Loewe，含“雄狮”寓意，R 为首字母象征创新与皇家尊贵。The shield badge shows two standing Eastern lions guarding a huabiao; ROEWE echoes the Spanish name Loewe, meaning lion, with R conveying innovation and regal prestige.
History
荣威是上汽集团（上海汽车集团股份有限公司）旗下的自主品牌，2006年10月12日正式对外宣布品牌定名，总部位于上海。品牌从中高端市场起步，早期以罗孚75知识产权及技术平台为基础，如今定位为“体面、超值、信赖”的国民车品牌。中文名“荣威”取意“创新殊荣、威仪四海”，2020年后车标在经典盾形徽标基础上推出简化版新标，采用金属本色与立体电镀工艺。Roewe is the self-owned brand of SAIC Motor, announced on 12 October 2006 and headquartered in Shanghai. It began in the mid-to-premium segment using Rover 75 intellectual property and technology, and now positions itself as a value-driven national car brand built on dignity, value and trust.
